‘Navratri Golu Contest’ for all Chennaities

Chennai, 16th September ’09: Celebrating the spirit of Navratri, Aavaranaa the exclusive designer ethnic boutique, partakes in the festive celebrations through an exciting ‘Navratri Golu Contest’ for Chennaities. The theme of the Golu contest is “Wear & Think Ethnic”, the winners will be selected on their unique and innovative way of arranging the ‘bommai golu’ in their homes or offices.
Interested ones can participate in the contest by clicking a picture through their lens and send across the picture of their `bommai golu’ arrangement and mail it to ethnic@gmail.com. They could also send it by post to Aavaranna @ No. 15, Ashoka Street, Alwarpet, Chennai 18; Ph: 044 24988292, on or before September 30, 2009.
Commenting on the contest, Ms. Vijayalakshmi Krishna, Managing Partner – Aavaranaa, said, “This contest is a great way for us to connect with our patrons on a personal level & enjoy celebrating Navratri together. It marks the growth of our business along with our loving customers.”

All entries received will be reviewed by a panel of judges who will then select the best three among the participants based on how the theme “Wear & Think Ethnic” is uniquely and innovatively implemented in their golu arrangements. Aavaranaa will hand out exciting prizes from designer collections to top three winners and 20 consolation prizes for the participants.
