<p>Miss Costa Rica 2010 beauty pageant, that saw 24 year old Marva Wright taking the crown.</p>
<p>Marva was asked about the things money can buy, to which she answered that “Money provides us manybenefits and helps us go through our needs and to help others; but money will never be able to buy love; that comes from within ourselves”.<br />
Marva will now represent Costa Rica in the Miss Universe pageant.</p>
<p>&#8220;I am very happy. I dedicate this to my family, my friends and all those who have been by my side&#8221;, said Marva.</p>
<p>The setting for the event could not have been any better: beach, sand and night sky of Guanacaste, as the event was carried live on national television.</p>
<p>Miss Costa Rica 2010 will receive some ¢20 million colones in prizes and Toyota Yaris 2010.</p>
<p>The 1st runner-up was Yazmin Zuniga, while the 2nd and 3rd runner-ups were Natasha Campos and Guiselle Aragon. 10 women competed in the contest.</p>
<p>The winner was decided through an extra final question, due to a tie.</p>
<p>Mac Duggal Pageant based out of Chicago, officially dressed the winner and all the runnersup of the pageant. This just adds to the successful string of winners being consistently produced across the world by Mac Duggal.</p>

The theme of the Golu contest is “Wear &amp; Think Ethnic”, the winners will be selected on their unique and innovative way of arranging the ‘bommai golu’ in their homes or offices. </p>
<p>Interested ones can participate in the contest by clicking a picture through their lens and send across the picture of their `bommai golu&#8217; arrangement and mail it to ethnic@gmail.com. They could also send it by post to Aavaranna @ No. 15, Ashoka Street, Alwarpet, Chennai 18; Ph: 044 24988292, on or before September 30, 2009.</p>
<p>Commenting on the contest, Ms. Vijayalakshmi Krishna, Managing Partner – Aavaranaa, said, “This contest is a great way for us to connect with our patrons on a personal level &amp; enjoy celebrating Navratri together. It marks the growth of our business along with our loving customers.”</p>
<p>Ms. Soorya Krishna, Head Designer – Aavaranaa, said, “This competition is a great idea as it promotes ethnicity and our country’s culture besides building on customer relations. We are sure the Chennaites will enjoy this contest and looking forward to reward the winners with designer collections”</p>
<p>All entries received will be reviewed by a panel of judges who will then select the best three among the participants based on how the theme “Wear &amp; Think Ethnic” is uniquely and innovatively implemented in their golu arrangements. Aavaranaa will hand out exciting prizes from designer collections to top three winners and 20 consolation prizes for the participants. </p>

IVT was intended to play a role in the recent elections through this platform which would help people to make an informed decision in electing the people’s representatives. </p>
<p>At a regular pace, the citizens were asked to elect a leader who will be able to govern the community both in a larger and smaller spectrum. The call for awareness is directly advocated by people who are in deep concern for the effectiveness of the governing community. IVT has brought about the cause, enlightened the active populace. Brought to light the finer details of the umpteen constituencies in the country towards performing their raj dharma &#8211; pledge for support.</p>
<p>IVT has informed, educated and ascertained its people before stepping in the voting booth to make a choice. The elections have concluded. India-watchers across the world celebrated the unexpectedly strong victory of the Congress-party led coalition in Indian elections.</p>
<p>But that’s not where we respite, IVT linked up with the appointed ministries of the Indian Government to confer about their prospective agenda for the next 100 days to come.</p>
